Rachel Ashley Platten lahir 20 Mei 1981 di Newton  Centre, Massachusetts, Amerika adalah seorang penyanyi dan penulis lagu bergenre pop. Dia terkenal dengan single "Fight Song" yang sukses diterima di seluruh dunia pada tahun 2015, singlenya berhasil meraih Top 10 di Australia, Kanada, Selandia Baru, Slovakia, dan Amerika Serikat. bahkan single "Fight Song" dapat mencapai peringkat nomor satu di Inggris.

Rachel Platten merilis debut album studio Trust in Me pada tahun 2003 -. Yang disebut, koleksi demo. Album kedua, Be Here, dirilis dari Rock Ridge Music pada tahun 2011. Single tahun 2011-nya "1000 Ships" memuncak hingga nomor 24 di chart US Billboard Adult Top 40, dan juga diputar di berbagai stasiun radio. Lagunya "You're Safe" digunakan dalam MTV Finding Carter pada bulan September 2014. Pada 27 Juni 2014, debut pertama lagu "Fight Song" di We Heart It sebagai bagian dari artist spotlight.
